How We Came to Be

“There is a woman whose marriage is in trouble and she is waiting for you to start.”

This women’s prayer ministry came into being in 2010 as a result of a revelation from God while praying and a hunger to pray with other women.

The ministry kicked off in Lagos in February 2010. It started with eight women and grew to about thirty women. When the visioner Pst. Opuaya Agha moved to Abuja in August 2010, The spirit of God spoke to her through a woman saying, “There is a woman whose marriage is in trouble and she is waiting for you to start”.

The Abuja Chapter started on the 24th of August 2010. Over the years WWP has evolved into 3 zones and has grown in numerical strength in its various centers Nationwide and International Centres in America and Britain. Branches are fast spreading in other states in Nigeria and beyond.

Spiritually, WWP as a body keeps growing from glory to glory. We are greatly awed each week by the testimonies of the Mighty miracles God keeps working in our midst. Most humbling is the fact that under our watch, lives, families, marriages, and children are being transformed to the glory of God which translates to be a better society in the long run.

As women, we are faced with challenges and through them all, God’s word assures that the woman who fears the Lord smiles at her future. In WWP we use the truth to encourage one another into a bright future, striving to know Him more for ourselves and our families.

Our bigger picture is to reach every woman.

Our Sincere Prayer is that you know God for yourselves and stay heavily conscious of your spirituality. We look forward to seeing you again in one of our meetings testifying to the goodness of God and the efficacy of prayers.
